First Days of School

Belle started second grade this year. I can't believe that she is that old. She loves school and couldn't wait to start. She got the cute blouse in this picture from Grandma and Granddad and could not wait to wear it to school.

 Boo starts Kindergarten! She was soooo ready, and hated the fact that Belle got to start before her. At last the day finally arrived and she could hardly contain herself.



Boo and her friends from our ward Joseph and Lyndsey. Almost her entire primary class is in her Kindergarten class, which she was super excited for. I love Joseph's face here with the ladies.

Her teacher is so cute and clever she gave each kid a Hostess cupcake at the end of the day with a paper that said "My first day of Kindergarten was a piece of cake"

Poor Bubba was feeling a little left out, so he thought he had to get in on at least one picture. Gosh, I just love them!

It is so hard to believe that my kids are actually this big. Before I know it Bubba will be in school too! I am so happy that they love learning and that I can see them make leaps and bounds in their education. Belle reads above grade level, and Boo is already starting to read too. All three of them are so smart. I am so happy I get to be their Mommy.

Boo the Graduate!

Way back in May, Boo had her preschool graduation. We love her preschool, and the teachers. I actually taught there my senior year, and Belle went there too. So, it is tradition for our family!

This years theme was Junior Jags in Paradise! So the theme for their decorations were things found in a tropical paradise! The graduation actually turns into a huge party, with a live to band too!

Here We Go Again!

So we have been MIA lately, and I have made a goal to blog once a week. We'll see.... Here we go again!!

This is just some of the stuff we have been up to lately. (since this time last year. YIKES!)

                           OUR FAMILY STAY-CATION

 
We stayed at the Holiday Inn, and went to the Hollywood Connection, went swimming, and out to eat. All of the things you do on a real vacation, except everything is jammed into 2 days! The kids had a blast and asked when we could do it again!

 Mike and the kids mini-golfing. Bubba is so stubborn, when Mike tried to help him, he yanked the club back and swung. It paid off because he got a hole in one!!!!! 

    After breakfast in the hotel restaurant. They loved that fire!

 Belle's first experience with roller skating! The kids didn't really love this part. It was really loud, and they kept falling down. The next day Boo was complaining her bum bones hurt.( Her bottom was sore because she fell down sooo many times)

                           SLEDDING WITH MEGAN AND BRANDON

 Sledding with Megan and Brandon this winter. Megan and Brandon gave the kids sleds Christmas 2010, but it was such a dry winter they never got to use them. So we were so happy to be able to use them this year.

BUBBA TURNS 2!!!!!

  How can he be that big????? His latest obsession's are Buzz, Woody, McQueen, Mater,  and any sports! And not necessarily in that order.

 I love this picture, because he had just barely gotten a Buzz Lightyear gun from my parents and he used his gun to blow out his candles. And it actually worked!! See his pumped fist! Love it!!!

 This was a great day for Grandpa, he was able to fly the kite sitting in the chair. It was really cool for me and for my kids to see him do this, and to cheer him on. He had so much fun! He was telling us stories of when he was a kid, and how they used to fly kites on the roofs in New York. As the days go by, and the good days become fewer and fewer, it is days like this that I will always cherish!

Spring Sports!!!
Rylee played soccer, and she loved it! Libby played tee-ball, she didn't like it all that much. She like hitting but other than that she was pretty unenthusiastic.

Rylee was th second smallest on her team.

Bubba felt a little left out, so occasionally he would steal the team equipment and try it on. A few time he thought he would just join in on the game!

 Parade! It was a really nice parade, but by 10:00 in the morning it was like 95 degrees. Sooo hot!!! We were melting.

We had a Mani-Pedi Party! It was really fun! She invited Stella, Azi, Mia, Gabriella, Libby, Natasha, and Hannah.

OUR SUMMER STAY-CATION

When my parents were in Canada this summer the kids felt bad, so we had our own mini vacation. We slept in the tent in the backyard, roasted hot dogs, and went shopping for school supplies the next day!
